Before replacing a blocked chute

If the existing chute is intact but grounds flow is restricted, cleaning may resolve the problem without replacing the part. Switch off and unplug the grinder, then use a dry chute cleaning brush to remove loose coffee grounds and chaff.

Chute works - no complaints. But I wish they'd included replacement crimp connectors, since you can't reuse the old ones and you need a couple to install the new chute.

The upgraded chute modification is a noticeable improvement. I see now why it’s recommended. With a bit of care it’s an easy DIY project.
