Returns & Refunds

Change your mind? No Worries - we make returns simple. See our Returns & Refunds Policy for details.

Please note used consumable products (burrs and brushes) are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. If your item is faulty or not as described, you are always entitled to a refund or replacement.

Replace a worn, damaged or missing declumper and restore smooth, controlled grounds flow from your DF-series coffee grinder.

The declumper sits beneath the burr chamber at the entrance to the grinder’s exit chute. As ground coffee passes through, its fins or mesh separate compacted grounds before they fall into the dosing cup or portafilter.

A correctly fitted declumper helps reduce clumping and irregular discharge, supporting a cleaner workflow and more even distribution before tamping.

Compatible Grinder Models

Declumpers are model-specific and are not necessarily interchangeable between grinders. Select the variant that matches your grinder before adding the part to your cart, as the shape, construction and mounting arrangement vary between models.

If you are unsure which version you require, contact us with your grinder model and a photo of the existing declumper.

When Should a Declumper Be Replaced?

A replacement may be appropriate if:

  • The original declumper is torn, bent, cracked, distorted or missing
  • The fins or mesh no longer sit correctly across the chute opening
  • The declumper has become loose or displaced
  • Coffee is accumulating around a visibly damaged component
  • The declumper was damaged during cleaning or grinder maintenance

If the declumper is still intact and correctly positioned, clean the chute and surrounding area before replacing it. Clumping, static and retention can also be affected by the coffee, grind setting, ambient conditions and residue inside the grinder.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Fine coffee particles and chaff can gradually collect around the declumper and exit chute. Periodically loosen visible residue using a dry DF-series chute cleaning brush. Always switch the grinder off and unplug it before cleaning or accessing the chute area.

For more detailed advice, see our DF54 and DF64 Gen 2 cleaning and maintenance guide. If scattered grounds remain a problem after cleaning, read our guide to reducing static when grinding coffee.
