A lot simpler than I'd anticipated. Does a great job, clean, fast and quiet for a grinder compared to those I had observed being used previously! My wife and I believe we made a great choice and have really enjoyed our freshly ground coffees.
I’m very impressed with this grinder. I now have 3 grinders. Two Eureka Mignon Libras. I think this is just as good. If not better. I love the setting adjustment on this grinder. It is so much better than the Eurekas. I also love the fact that I can keep my coffee beans in a sealed container rather than the hopper. The DF54 is for my caravan and matched to a Breville Bambino. It makes a really good espresso. The grinder is a bit heavier than expected, but it is solid lovely to use.
Excellent grinder, very consistent and can grind fine enough for quality espresso. Really good value.
Aaron was awesome to deal with and super responsive. He made time for a weekend pickup locally which is much appreciated. Service aside, the DF54 is awesome !

Bought as a gift, partner loves it. Consistent grind straight out of the box. Easy to use and clean. Looks good and sturdy metal construction. Aaron answered my questions quickly and delivered to NZ. Thanks!
Loving it! So solid and easy to use,Dialling the grind nearly got it perfect now :)
The DLC burrs are the beezneez and hands down are the best I’ve ever installed onto a grinder. They have also cut the grind time in half which is amazing in itself.
Aaron at Grind Logic makes everything easy. I love their 60 day change of mind policy and their approach to service.
I have had several grinders including a Breville Smart ginder and a Compak K3.
The taste I get with my DF64 Gen 2 V2.5 is the best I have ever achieved. I can grind so fine that I can completely stop any water making it through the puck. This means I can now dial in for any roast level or bean type.
The dial adjustment is very repeatable and allows me to pour a decaf and a normal coffee each morning by adjusting the dial 2.5 marks on the dial to the sweet spot on each roast.
This is also the fastest grinder I have ever used. I grind a light roasted bean for espresso in only 14 seconds. There is almost never any retention because the coffee pours out at such a good speed helping to clear the chute.
It does make a slightly higher pitched noise than my previous grinders, but I only hear it for half of the time.
I highly recommend this grinder and appreciate the service approach of Grind Logic. I particularly appreciate their 60 day change of mind return policy.
Can’t sing high enough praises, truly.
My interaction started with me asking about DF64 parts for a hair-brained scheme, and out of the dozen or so companies I asked, Grind Logic was the only place that not only answered my questions, but entertained the idea and legitimately cared.
Little did the other places know, but their response, irrespective of the outcome, would define who I bought burrs from. As for the burrs, they work phenomenally, you can’t really judge burrs until you’ve had a decent amount of time to bed them in and get used to them, but the improvement is noticeable and I can tell there’s a lot of headroom to still utilise.
Main thing I’ll say is this. Burrs and grinders are such a niche within a niche, so having not only a trusted source of information, but also a trustworthy source when you make the decision is worth more than anything, and I can unreservedly recommend Grind Logic to be that for you too.
