DF54 Upper Burr Carrier – Replacement Part

Replacement upper burr carrier for the DF54 single-dose coffee grinder.

The upper burr carrier sits inside the DF54 grind chamber and provides the mounting surface that holds the upper 54mm burr in position. This replacement component is suitable for grinder repairs, servicing or keeping as a spare component.

Replacement may be appropriate if the original carrier has been damaged, distorted or no longer allows the upper burr to mount and seat correctly. When correctly installed, the carrier supports the intended positioning of the upper burr within the grinder.

Installation notes

Switch off and disconnect the grinder from the power supply before opening the grind chamber. Ensure the carrier threads, burr and mounting surfaces are clean before installation. The carrier should engage smoothly and should not be forced if resistance is encountered.

After reassembly, confirm that the adjustment collar moves normally and begin testing from a sufficiently coarse setting. Do not operate the grinder with the burrs touching. Recalibration or adjustment of your previous grind setting may be required after the burr assembly has been removed and reinstalled.
